Layout Design
From the typographic experimentations book
This entry consist of different examples of Editorial Process that I did research on, by looking at some examples of layout design processes I found in this book I found inspiring and after looking at these examples of layout looking sat how the graphics and typography is laid out and looking at these examples had really taught me how I can lay out my imagery in a simplistic layout and kept straight and clean layout and then also you can generate design layouts in an asymmetric way and can be aesthetically pleasing as well as kept straight and clean, these ideas truly inspired me to create some aesthetically pleasing design concepts both for the website and for the publication, but this really helped me with coming up with more exciting layout concepts and it enabled me to not be too attached to neat and tidy, and to go wild with my layouts and to not be afraid of using negative space in odd parts of the website and publication or in future aspects of design it also taught me to climb out of my comfort blanket and to take risk in my layout designs.
Here are some more examples of editorial layouts on graphic publications below:
These examples of editorial layouts were very insightful to see and I like how
different each page of the publication is unique to keep people reading and to be eager to find out what is on the next page and its what and I like how some of the spreads are very simplistic and other pages are more exciting and very bold and exciting graphic layouts which is the sort of aesthetic I want to go for for no spread to be the same but to be about the same topic throughout which is some thing I want to try and incorporate.
