Website Layout 2 : Computer screen perspective

Image
Layout 2: Computer Perspective  Here is my second attempt on designing another website, because I had feedback from Paul, Liam and Seb about making the video the hero of the website and to put it in the home page so I decided to look at building a website on website builders and looked on a website called Web-den, where you can look at this website in iPad formation, computer and mobile which I thought was an exciting element about this website building software. For my audience for this website again I have stuck with the audience for children due to listening to what people have said on questionnaires and on interviews (Which you'll come across on the One drive!) where the majority of those who took part associate badge collecting to be targeted towards children. The Home Page With the home page I  kept it simplistic and easy to follow, with the written descriptions of each page on the website a.ong with some photos of the badges and just an exciting way ...

Childrens Websites

Image
Children's Websites I have looked into examples of children's websites after creating a prototype mockup app and after doing that and listening to my interviews and to people on my questionnaire that children is the best suited audience to aim badge collecting towards and because of that I decided my website will be for children in order to help me formulate and structure a child friendly website, In-order for me to do that I wanted to see examples of children web designs to see what others have done, so it'll help me understand more about what children aren interested in as I have a lack in knowledge in children seeing as I haven't really been around children in my upbringing. This would then help me with creating my website to best suit my target audience.  Here are some examples of children's websites.  I wanted to look at these websites to help me understand the purposes of a website and to help me understand what would be appropriate for chil...

Website Layout 1

Image
Website Layout 1 This here is my first layout of my website I made, I had a go with Adobe XD because I wanted to learn the basics in operating this programme and I started making this in a workshop with Jordan one Monday which I felt I give it a go because I was just getting to grips with the programme.    I figured I stick to using this programme until I found out that Adobe XD cannot include video in this software at this current moment unfortunately and because I have video footage in my items to add to my website which think would make my website exciting so I think it's time to change up my website format layout.   History page on the first website layout I added all the research I had with the website ignorer for me to create it along with adding facts on this history of the Blue Peter badge which I felt would work well for this page on this layout.

Flat Plan of my website

Image
Flat plan for my website As I was focusing my app prototype on children decided originally to keep the website/app I decide to make to be pinpointed for children because they're the generation of tomorrow and websites and apps will be part of their upbringing, so I decided to do a flat plan of my website suited for children, this is what I came up with as a rough idea as to how I would like my website to look so you can see how I want to interpret my layout design for the sake of the early activity of the Editorial process.  My Original Flatplan for my website design concept The flat plan I did on my website, it is very simplistic layout but thats what I wanted because,  I created this prior to making my website, so I get a general idea on how I layout my website and for others to see where my ideas were coming from so I can use that as a guide to help me create my website.  This is the plan I intend to use to create my website for the badge collecting I kept this pl...

Juxtaposed experiments Here are some more experiments I did where I juxtaposed more than one image as either a background or overlay image of my badge collections Here is the imagery I found below: This section of imagery I continued to experiment further but this time looking at the images of my pins in my hands and these were created purely for the sake of  trial and error.

Darker Experiments

Image
Darker Experiments With this section of experiments I decided to look at the darker experiments I created of my badge collection, because I wanted to create some pieces that are on the darker aesthetics also, to see the comparisons between the colourful and lightened pieces and the darker aesthetic.  For getting the dark effects on Photoshop  I experimented With the blend modes where you get the darker aesthetics, using blend modes such as:- divide, darken, etc. I then incorporated the hue saturations with these darkened experiments to make these pieces look more aesthetically pleasing. Here is the experimental imagery I designed below: Dark Pastel aesthetic with rigid pattern formulation with the rigid trippy effect to make the imagery look more aesthetically pleasing.  Trial and Error Experimentations Pink & Black Blue & Black   On this imagery above, I have experimented further with this kind of a...

Colourful Graphic Experiments

Image
Colourful Graphic Experiments With this entry I developed some more imagery looking at the colourful imagery with a vast amount of colours and Hue saturations in the imagery with the various blend modes and created more artworks due to experimental trial and error and I have a fascination on colour theory and really wanted to convey that in this entry and here is some eye captivating imagery below.      These experiments here were developed photos of the imagery of my enamel pins placed in my hand where I experimented on the hue saturations of the imagery seeing these images together they very much remind me of the artwork that Andy Warhol creates with the repetitive pattern imagery or pop iconic imagery which I felt was an exciting touch to mention where my inspiration for this imagery sprung  to mind.       With this set of experiments I changed the hue saturations and developed these much further to incorporate my ...
