Interactive Memory Game
Interactive Memory Game
I decoded as another way of creating an interactivity to add purpose to my website was to
create a memory game after doing interviews and questionnaires this was something someone suggested to include in the website so I decided to listen to this persons and create a memory game, I like this idea because it contracts my theme of memory much more with my collection having a significant theme on memory. Which added another reason for me to design a
memory game.
The Memory Game
With this memory game to design it was a challenge to figure out a way around designing a memory game after trying to create a memory game where I take badges away and get people to guess which badges were taken I realise for a digitalised interactive website that this idea was madness to complete and would be time consuming so I had to rethink completely by doing some research on how I can design a game and I was incredibly lucky to be able to make a Memory game on a website where it specifically allows you to make games like that which I was very relieved about and funny enough I found out about this website somehow after browsing on the CBBC/BBC website on how I can make games and this website called intercity came up on the video so I thought I check it out and this is the result using Intercity below.
This here is where I done my research for how to build an interactive Game: https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/watch/p028vkm0
Start Screen
With the start screen I have kept it simplistic and to the point, by keeping the text blunt by using few word questions to get people curious and for those who want to play the game, to give it a show not tell kind of thing to keep people interested and curious as to how the game works so they can play it to find out what the game is and to make the game a self explanatory thing to participate in.
First Round of Three
With this round I have used the imagery from my experiments in this game where I have used my experiments to put into this round on the memory game, because the imagery has multiple different colours and experiments which makes it easier to find pairs for a first found I figured it be best to put that kind of imagery that way.
Second Round of the Game
With this second round, I have decided to incorporate the imagery of my homemade badges/pins to make the round trickier as the imagery is more challenging on finding the
pairs as the imagery has more detail on the photos and because it makes it more challenging.
Third Round of the Game
End Cover of Game
With this end cover of the game, I kept it simplistic by keeping the text informal and add a pun as I think puns as much as people eye roll at the puns they add some light humour to it to keep it lighthearted as well as entertaining.
