The Final Website Layout
Finally... after doing 5 layout designs and after months of creating I finally come up with a satisfying outcome for my website what took me a while to get to... after struggling on finding "Purpose" of the website and the incentive is finally there! and I found it was to encourage teenagers to get creative as well as entertain them and give them a synopsis educational section also, I wanted teenagers to understand that collecting badges they're more likely to have kept badges through their childhood I wanted to tell them to keep them as they're memorable badges that can be so little but make you reminisce on the great times and bring on the nostalgia I wanted to make memrobilia theme clear in this layout which I feel I have done this fairly well.
Home Page
With the Homepage, yes I went back to the black backgrounds with the white
writing for then reasons that black background with white writing because I find that it is legible to read and the whitened writing as its a contrast to black the white writing stands out, the imagery is very bold and colourful which works well because it adds
to the dynamics of the website and makes the homepage look aesthetically
pleasing especially where the imagery us colourful with monochrome text and blacked background.
History Page
Here is the history page, where I have made an educational page for teens to learn about the collectable item with the origin behind it and the invention of the badges themselves. I kept it brief because I didn't want it to be hundreds of words I wanted it to be simplistic and minimal more to the reason of not wanting to intimidate them and as well as that I wanted people to read it and I find most teens don't like to read bulks and bulks of writing.
Graphics Page
With this graphics page here, is where I incorporated imagery I created in small bulks and divided the sections, I went for imagery that was bold, bright, some colourful and I went for some of my darkened imagery, but alongside that on this page I decided to make It interactive where you can down load imagery I left as line drawings for people to print and colour in or to just digitally colour them in I have also allowed a section where people can post artwork they've done of their badge collection or even artwork they done that they feel an object triggers a memory.

Colouring Section
This is where you come across the colouring section of the website, where I wanted to encourage interactivity with my audience where as I say above, made Lin drawings of my imagery for people to colour in to bring out interactivity, therapeutic activity that people can take part in to release stress calmly do colouring I really liked this idea as a way for people to connect with the imagery and go mad with the colouring aspects as I wanted to make it so people can unleash their creative side.

Photography Page
I kept this page simplistic and used the photos of my badge collection where it contains a vast amount of badges to show my collection off a bit and to show there is more meaning than just the image on the badge that it can trigger memories and can be quite significant on marking milestones I also find badges are great to photograph as no badge is the same in my eyes. I wanted to encourage people to do the same photograph their badges and find the same enjoyment as I had with it.

Step by step on rubbings
This page here is also on the same page as the photography page to encourage more interactivity showing people how to get more creative with doing rubbings of badges for them to enjoy getting arty as I am a person who enjoys the art and creative industry I wanted to incorporate this too.
Quotes and comments from Badge Collectors
I wanted to put some quotes on what some people thought of badge collecting from badge collectors as in most websites you tend to see comments and quotes from people and I thought hearing what badge collecting meant for other people's perspective I thought it be good to show this as it may encourage others to start collecting also.
Homemade Badges
With this page of the website I have looked at my home-made badges I thought it add another wave of interactivity by encouraging others to make pins of their own also, like how I did by writing some instructions on how I made the enamel pins below...
A step by step on how I made the badges with visual photographic imagery on each step.
Buying page
I decided to add a buying page of my badges an idea suggested by Jack when I was asking for feedback to add more purpose to the website and to incorporate more interactivity and I wanted it to look like you could potentially buy badges.
Here is the link to the website:
Why not check it out yourself! You might like it... hopefully!
