Egyptian Artwork
Egyptian Artwork
With this entry consist of my artwork about the Egyptian culture, seeing as the Enamel pins couldn't of been invented if It wasn't for the Egyptians for making Enamel and I wanted the spread I put into my publication to include Traditional Egyptian art especially the fact that I have a liking for this kind of art.
After seeing what the hieroglyphics were in A-Z I wanted to draw it in my interpretation and I wanted to use it to add to the background of the Egyptian double page spread and I then put up the vintage looking backdrop, referring to the fact it was a vintage Alphabet and I wanted to make the backdrop look aesthetically pleasing but not too overpowering.
Hieroglyphics writing the word Egyptian
Old drawing of Egyptian Pharaoh where I drew this in GCSE Days so yes, quite an old one, but with this one I was going back to the nostalgia and I decided to give this a vintage aesthetic also and was tempted to use this as a backdrop, but I felt the image was a bit on the weaker side and so I decided to go for the hieroglyphic image as the backdrop.
The newly improved version of the pharaoh
After getting feedback from Liam and Jack who both suggested I draw images digitally and making them stronger aesthetically and very bold and to stick with that stylistic variation for all the illustrative imagery I create for my publication. You can see the development after 8 years.
Anubis, The Egyptian Dog God
This is my favourite image I have drawn out of most of my imagery in this project, because of the colours and cultural/traditional art is just wonderful and I had so much fun drawing this one- because I drew something different from the Egyptian era and it was highly satisfying. I drew this image to put onto my publication to show the traditional art of Egyptian culture and I wanted the page to be memorable by using this bold image to include in this layout. I wanted to use this image as decoration and honestly, I would consider making a pin of this image. as well.
