Website Layout 2 : Computer screen perspective

Layout 2: Computer Perspective

Here is my second attempt on designing another website, because I had feedback from Paul, Liam and Seb about making the video the hero of the website and to put it in the home page so I decided to look at building a website on website builders and looked on a website called Web-den, where you can look at this website in iPad formation, computer and mobile which I thought was an exciting element about this website building software. For my audience for this website again I have stuck with the audience for children due to listening to what people have said on questionnaires and on interviews (Which you'll come across on the One drive!) where the majority of those who took part associate badge collecting to be targeted towards children.

The Home Page

With the home page I  kept it simplistic and easy to follow, with the written descriptions of each page on the website a.ong with some photos of the badges and just an exciting way to welcome children to met website in the most simplistic ways. In actual fact, the aesthetic actually reminds me of the look of the train tickets with the colours of them with the orange white and the black text, which was unintentional thing but when I think about it- it incorporates a another thing I have started collecting without realigning- that item being train tickets, so Ironically the aesthetic of my website layout was inspired by another anthological object I collect.

History Page

With this page, consisted of a history page for the educational purposes, to educate my audience and to engage children by learning about their own history of their badge Collection or to start a collection of their own, as another way to engage my audience.

Badge Collection

On this page, I have photographed my collection where I wanted to focus on the imagery of my badge collection to try and influence and persuade children to collect badges.

Trailer

For this page is where I chose to display my trailer to promote my website and to try and grab the attention of my audience. I put this on a page more as it would of been an easier way to categorise it in such a way, but now I think about it and after receiving feedback to make the video the hero of the website by putting intone the homepage, this is another reason why I agree as the intention of the video disappears otherwise.

Portfolio Page on Badges

This page here is my art work in a portfolio setting of all the imagers I created of my badge collection, but now I think about it I felt there was too much content on this page where it would and children won't pay full attention to it and will get bored to see the same kind of thing on
one page.

Home made Badges
This page here is about my homemade badges, this is what you could say is an interactive section of the website where I showed people they cam make homemade badges.

Experimental Page

With this page here, I decided put my imagery here to put my images that I used for experimental purposes on here, this is what I came up with, showing all my trial and error imagery bit I think the same wot this page as the "Portfolio Page" that there is too much content going on with this imagery.

Contacts Page

With this page, I didn't like in the computerised perspective, due to the fact that it looks unfinished and the person on the laptop by the fireplace isn't the look I wanted to include on my website, the image was one of them automated pictures that came with the website.
With this second website layout was going decently, but the thing what put me off was the fact that I went to press publish to test to see how it would work due to the fact. have never made a website and figured it would help me discover how the publishing works and weather or not I was able to edit the imagery, I then found that this site Web-den it said it was free to build the website yet to actually publish the website cost me £7 a month to publish which for a student is alot to pay for- for a website to be published, which means I would unfortunately have to rethink on the matter of my choice of website... I have also found out I can
