Badge Photography
As for one of the workshops we did in the near beginnings of this project we had to take photographs of our collection items as a bit of a photoshoot aesthetic, so we can then develop them further using photoshop. Here are my photos I have taken, where I have focused on arranging them in various ways, using the themes of various audiences, in differenciated age groups such as badges for 5-12 year olds and teens to mid adult to then badges for senior citizens out of my collection along with categorising them in colour groups as this is a big thing for me in terms of how I arrange items is in colour co-ordination, I also looked at height order and the materials of the badges. etc, anyway- you'll see as you scroll through them. Hope you enjoy looking at my badge collection in a photoshoot.
Enamel Pin
Enamel pins, I have a few enamel pins, which I have been collecting, to accompany my badge collection as I have got many button badges and wanted to collect a variety of badges, with different materials and different designs and patterns. Most enamel pins I have are from fandom.

The exact same enamel pins but photo taken at a further radius.
Enamel Pins categorised in groups for what they're for
Blue Peter category, rainbows- girls guiding group, DM's and a category of pins for Remembrance Day. this photo is okay but slightly blurred on half of the badges.

Button Badges
I have a various amount of Button Badges and have taken multiple photos of them in various perspectives and themes of LATCH- Location, Alphabet, Time, Category and Height.
A closeup of some of my button badges- unfortunately didn't go brilliantly again because of the lighting reflecting onto the camera lens.
More experimentation with photo perspective arrangements

The middle of the spiral shape pattern for a formation position
I decided to experiment with to show a general closeup of the badge- the photo is okay but could be better considering the fact there was light refracted onto the badge & the camera has caught it.
A zoomed out caption with half the badges cut off the shot
Here is a zoomed out version of the image above so you can see the entirety of the button badges collected together in a way of formulating. With bigger badges on the outskirts of the spiral pattern to give the more spiral like pattern.
A slightly more improved photo with a couple more badges more legible than in the previous photo taken above.
This photo is much better, you can see each badge and each of them are legible and none are cut off the shot taken.
Colours co-ordination
Another colour co-ordinated photo of my smaller button badges.
Small Button Badges cluttered together in a pile
another photo of smaller button badges- different perspective
Photographed badges- same as what features on photo above in a portrait perspective scale- to experiment with how the photo would look in a portrait position exploring scale.
Bigger button badges photographed as a miniature collection
Arranged in different aesthetics and perspectives for the sake of experimentation
Badges in a circle- for another way of arranging some of my collection
Illustrative badges- younger audiences
Button Badges for an older audience
This section of button badges I categorised them in a group for the typography- badges containing type and lettering as apposed to illustrative badges. Here are my photos below...

Badges arranged in clutters & Full collection

These photos are some of my favourite shots because it shows a vast variety of badges and it shows you can be any age to collect badges to represent a story and I like how unique they are and the fact that they're so scattered but also look very clustered together.
More Badge scattering photos
Another photo of scattered badges but taken in a different perspective where the badges are portrait rather than a landscape aesthetic- figured I'd try it for experimentation
Another badge scattered photo but not as good of a shot
My badges in their homely box... may need a new home for them soon if my collection keeps growing
Various Materials for badges
This section is of badges made from different materials from plastic, to wood, embroiled to other textures, I wanted to try categorising my collection like that also.
Wood & Celluloid (Plastic)
Embroided
My embroiled badges made from felt and sown materials
Photographed in various perspectives I wanted to play with the arrow badge saying "To Learn" rotating round the circular badge as a way of experimenting with perspectives and how I can experiment with layout with my badge collection. Besides these were the only badges I have left from Rainbows I did when I was a child.
Badges with different textures

This final section is photography of my full badge collection... arranged in height order... enjoy & Happy Browsing...

Full badge collection in colour co-ordination- different perspective of display
Putting these in colour co-ordination truthfully was unintentional... I wasn't even thinking when I was putting these up... must be a simotanious thing as I often. have a tendency to arrange my objects in colour I have always done it as a child... from GO-GO's crazy bones... Hot wheels and evidently even now.
