Developments of Artwork
With this entry, I developed the imagery I drew of my badges on Pro-Create, by editing the imagery on the Mobile equivalent of Photoshop, I wanted to see what my drawn imagery would look like in different aesthetics from using photoshop to see how I can develop this set of imagery further. Here is the edited images below.
Aesthetically exciting comic imagery with some powerful graphics using the pop art filter, with good reason, which was all to do with the fact that badges we come across today can be associated with fandom, like then majority of what my badge collection consists of. This is why I decided to use this filter and the reasoning behind this piece makes this piece strong and is one of my favourite images created for this entry.
Here is a negative (Polar opposite variation) of the imagery above, with a continuation of the comic aesthetic, just in a complete different colour co-ordination, but what I find exciting about that is the fact that colour can show a strong and dramatic aesthetic depending if the mood of the imagery can be the exact same imagery but with a different colour pallet completely can really impact an image and make it look very powerful and engaging to my audience.
Sentimental imagery
With this piece here this was all due to trial and error, trying out various imagery with the filters on Photoshop mobile app to see what the images look like and to see what filtrations work and which doesn't. seeing as this filter was recently introduced when it was snowing and Christmas time and not long come across it, I thought I try it.
Purple & Yellows
With these two images above, they're the same theme in terms of filtration like a submerged feeling this imagery has a lot going on and is almost a manic rush of emotions in one image almost like a sinking feeling, but it was interesting to see what this imagery of my badge collection looks like with different colour and experimental techniques and processes, all in the trial and error process, which makes the journey of experimentation an exciting endeavour with with this project.
Reflective imagery
This piece here is one of my favourite pieces in this used the due tone filter where it incorporates the original image of my drawing with a shadow like reflection with the blue shadow, using the shadow echo filter.
Badges high in the sky
Greyscale Image with Abstract background imagery- Adobe Max Filter.
With this image here I decided to develop this imagery further looking at a completely different type of abstract imagery due to the fact the background aesthetic works well with this piece with the fact that there's a shared correlation in light and dark perception on this piece to keep the dynamic of the piece exciting.
Repeated Colourful imagery
Using the Spectrum filter on the mobile Photoshop to get the repetitive imagery. What like about this piece was the aesthetic of the Bah Humbug badge really stands out for me, this filter makes this imagery look exciting to look at and more engaging for eye captivating my audiences.
Pixel glitching imagery
Glitchy Pixel Badges
This imagery here looks visually exciting in my eyes, as there are sections in this imagery where the colour in the imagery gives the badges a 3D effect like the images of the badges jumps out. As well as the pixelated aesthetic makes the glitch look abstract and look like there is genetic movement in the imagery. This again is here for the trial and error aspects of this piece.
Pixellated Badge Art
This Greyscale imagery incorporates a strong engaging feel with the concept of negative space along with trippy pixelation.
On this piece here I used hue saturations filters and I then decided to develop this imagery further by adding patterns on Photoshop Express, where I got the Ben-day dotted patterns from along with the Pop Art culture again to add some variety to my experimental process along with the fact that badges are very much related to fandom also.
With these all the images on this entry, I anticipate that these will be included in my website for my badge collection, just unsure as to how I can include these at this moment in time. Most likely these images will appear either in the graphics section or be included as backgrounds or included in the interactive elements of this imagery.
